Destination: Mt. Baker, Washington

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State extends over 140 miles along the western half of the Cascade Mountains and from Canadian border in the North, to the Mt. Rainier National Park in the South.

The Forest offers a variety of recreation sites including picnic areas, scenic viewpoints, watersport and snowplay areas, and hundreds of lakes, rivers and streams.

There are over 1,500 miles of hiking trails including portions of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. The Forest also provides ample opportunities for hunting, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, river rafting, bird watching, berry picking, picnicking and general sightseeing.

Snow skiing: With steep chutes, natural half-pipes, canyons and plenty of tree skiing, Mt. Baker is definitely an incredible experience!

Hiking: Over 1,500 miles of hiking trails including portions of the Pacific Crest Scenic Trail can be found here in the North Cascades.

Snowmobiling: Several hundred miles of snowmobile trails throughout this area provide some of the most spetacular views of Mt. Baker and the adjacent foothills.
